As the Rugby World Cup kicked off this weekend with a victory for the hosts, England, against Fiji, we decided to select the hottest players from the competition just so you know who to keep an eye out for. In no particular order, here are our 20 favourites.
David Pocock – Australia
Pocock is a member of the Wallabies’ back row and has been described as “pivotal” in their chances of winning the Rugby World Cup. Pocock is also a vocal supporter of LGBT rights and has previously slammed the use of homophobic slurs in the game saying: “You can be the toughest man in the world, but it’s got nothing to do with that sort of language.”
In a match between his domestic side, The ATC Brumbies, and rivals NSW Waratahs, Pocock made the referee address the alleged homophobic language used by members of the opposition.
Rory Kockott – France
South African born Frenchman, Kockott won the 2012-2013 Championship with domestic side Castres Olympique as well as finishing the season as top scorer. Kockott only became eligible to play for France in 2014 after serving a three year residency.
Sean Lamont – Scotland
2007 was a magnificent year. Britney Spears shaved her head, Nancy Pelosi was elected the first female speaker of the US Congress, and the first ever iPhone was launched. It was also the year that Sean Lamont let his cock flop about as he starred in the Dieux Du Stade calendar and accompanying video. Eight years later and he’s hotter than ever especially with the addition of a bit of scruff!
Jordi Murphy – Ireland
Named after the patron saint of Catalonia, St Jordi, Murphy was born in Barcelona to Irish parents. The 24 year old Leinster player has 12 caps for Ireland since making his debut last year.
Tommaso Allan – Italy
The 22 year old Italian received his first international call up in 2013 and has achieved a total of 17 caps.
